My name is Brian and my wife is Jean my sons are Paul and David. My outdoor activities started at school, I was in Rugby, boxing, football and swimming teams winning a lot of the time, second to the highest award for lifesaving. I would spend all summer school holidays swimming, that’s where I met Jean (my wife) little did I know at the time we would swim together, later we planned our lives together (got married) in 1966. We were invited to a holiday show where Jean won first prize of a holiday to Jersey and both being sporty we learnt to water-ski and scuba dive and enjoyed scuba so much we started with others the Great Yarmouth British Sub-Aqua Club which is still going strong today. We also formed the Norfolk and Suffolk Snorkelling Club the first one in East Anglia under the British Sub-Aqua Club.
